Lyrics:

Uh huh, life's like this

Uh huh, uh huh, that's the way it is
'Cause life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh that's the way it is

Chill out, what you yellin' for?
Lay back, it's all been done before
And if you could only let it be
You will see
I like you the way you are
When we're drivin' in your car
And you're talking to me one on one
But you've become...

Somebody else 'round everyone else
You're watching your back like you can't relax
You're tryin' to be cool
You look like a fool to me
Tell me

Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else
Gets me frustrated
Life's like this
You, you fall and you crawl and you break
And you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
You promised me I'm never gonna find you fake it
No, no, no

You come over unannounced
Dressed up like you're somethin' else
Where you are ain't where it's at
You see you're making me laugh out
When you strike your pose
Take off all your preppy clothes
You know you're not fooling anyone
When you've become...

Somebody else 'round everyone else
You're watchin' your back like you can't relax
You're tryin' to be cool
You look like a fool to me
Tell me

Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else
Gets me frustrated
Life's like this
You, you fall and you crawl and you break
And you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
You promised me I'm never gonna find you fake it
No, no, no

No, no, no
No, no, no
No, no, no

Chill out, what you yellin' for?
Lay back, it's all been done before
And if you could only let it be
You will see...

Somebody else 'round everyone else
You're watching your back like you can't relax
You're trying to be cool,
You look like a fool to me
Tell me

Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else
Gets me frustrated
Life's like this
You, you fall and you crawl and you break
And you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
You promised me I'm never gonna find you fake it
No no

Why do you have to go and make things so complicated? (yeah, yeah)
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else
Gets me frustrated
Life's like this
You, you fall and you crawl and you break
And you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
You promised me I'm never gonna find you fake it
No no no

Meaning:

The Grammy nominated single “Complicated” is about one of Avril Lavigne’s strong beliefs about life- you should be yourself all the time. The song has influenced many teenagers and kids to be true to your selves. Many of us are not true to ourselves because we doubt if the society will accept us. This was not written about anyone in particular, according to Lavigne. She says, "It's basically about life, people being fake, and relationships." In this song Avril tells the listener to present themselves the way they are but in an acceptable way.

Where to Visit in Bandung: Koloni Eatery and Art-venture

Koloni1edit
http://kintakun-collection.co.id/koloni-eatery-art-venture/2014/12/01/

Koloni Eatery and Art-venture or often called Koloni 108 located at Jl. Ciumbuleuit number 108, Bandung. This place is easy to find because it's located right beside the main road and because of its unique building that dominated with white, make it looks like an ancient place. Besides, the interior design of Koloni 108 will give you the impression of vintage when you visit this place. So many chalkboard art hanging on the wall, a lot of woody furniture, and cute murals in every corner of the place that is pretty good for photograph.

What makes Koloni 108 different is the foodcourt concept. You will find around 20 food or drink tenants at the back area of this place. They offer various kind of food and drink choices, from local, western, and japanese. The prices are also affordable, with the range from Rp15.000 until Rp60.000

Andd my favorite part of Koloni 108 are the art & craft stores that located in the front area of this place. According to its name, "Koloni Eatery and Art-venture", in this place you can also find several stores that sell a lot of art or craft stuff. Such as handmade crafts, decoration needs, art supplies, accessories, and many more. When coming to this place, I mostly spend my time wandering around these art & craft stores
(one of my favorite store is Ini Itu!) instead of having a meal in the foodcourt. All of the stuff look so unique and well-made.

Overall, Koloni 108 is a nice place to hangout, either with family or friends. Soo if you're a crafty or an art-lover and are searching for a place to eat, you should visit this place! I HIGHLY recommend it for you!

Places with Amazing Structure: Dome of The Rock

The Dome of the Rock is a shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. It was initially completed in 691 CE at the order of Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik during the Second Fitna. The Dome of the Rock is now one of the oldest works of Islamic architecture. It has been called "Jerusalem's most recognizable landmark," and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The octagonal plan of the structure may also have been influenced by the Byzantine Church of the Seat of Mary

Sometimes erroneously called the Mosque of Umar, from a tradition that it was built by Caliph Umar I, the Dome of the Rock was actually built by Caliph Abd al-Malik between 687 and 691.
The Dome of the Rock is located on a rocky outcrop known as Mount Moriah, where, according to Jewish belief, Abraham offered his son Isaac as a sacrifice. The inscriptions inside the building glorify Islam as the final true revelation and culmination of the faiths of Judaism and Christianity. The building is actually not a mosque but a ciborium, erected over a sacred site.

According to later Islamic tradition, the Rock (al-Sakhra) in the midst of the building was the spot from which Mohammed ascended to heaven after his miraculous night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem on the winged steed al-Buraq.

Built between 685 and 691 C.E., this shrine is the first piece of Islamic architecture sponsored by a Muslim ruler that was created as a work of art. Its wooden gilt dome, which is approximately 20 meters in diameter, rises to a height of some 30 meters above the surrounding stone-paved platform. It is supported by a circular arcade of four piers and twelve columns. Surrounding this circle is an octagonal arcade of eight piers and sixteen columns, which help support the dome. The outer wall repeats this octagon, each of the eight sides being about 18 meters wide and 8 meters high. Many of the 45,000 blue and gold exterior tiles were installed under Suleiman the Magnificent in the 1500s. Inside, 1,280 square meters of elaborate mosaics cover the walls that enshrine the mystical rock under the dome.

The shape of the dome itself is a powerful symbol of the soaring ascent to heaven, its circle representing the wholeness and balance essential to the Muslim faith.

Although sometimes referred to as the Mosque of Omar, the Dome of the Rock is in fact not a mosque. Nevertheless, as the oldest extant Islamic monument, it served as a model for architecture and other artistic endeavors across three continents for a millennium.

Education to Build a Better Future

Education is a process to know and learn something around us. Education is really needed by everyone. Without education, our life in this world will be a mess, because people will do everything they want, whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. But, with a better education, our knowledge will increase and it can be useful for everyone. Besides, education will also help us to build a good character. Quality of a country mostly depend by its education. If a country has a bad education, that country could left behind from another countries that have a much better education. That's why education is really important.
School is one of a place to get an education. In school, we learn a lot of things such as mathematics, biology, physics, and many more. However, we often forget about the importance of character education. The world doesn't only need people who highly educated, because it won’t guarantee the success of a country. Without character education, people will forget the importance of manners, discipline, honesty, and many more. In the end, it will create a bad generation.
Besides, the weakness of education nowadays is all student must master all of the subjects, whether it’s their field or not. In my opinion, it’s the wrong way of education. Each student has their skills in different fields. They aren’t supposed to learn things they don’t master at, because it will just stressed them out and in the end, they don’t have a chance to develop their real potential. I think it will be better and wiser if you let the students choose their field since a little so they can enjoy to learn them.
So, for myself, the best education is an education that is not only teaches us about theory, but also teaches us more about character building. In addition, the best education is an education that more concern on developing students’ potential, by not forcing them to master all of the subjects that are not their field. I hope Indonesia will fix its education system soon and follows other countries that have succeed.
That's all from me. Sorry if there are some mistakes. Thank you for reading^^

Holiday~

I would like to tell you about my last holiday. It happened 2 months ago. After i got my report card, i and my family decided to have some holiday in Pangandaran! On 24th December 2015, we departed to Pangandaran. We went there by car, so it took almost 12 hours to get there (it could be just 5-8 hours if we went earlier). Well, it was very tiring yet exciting trip, because we had a chance to travelling around West Java. We also stopped in many places to get some meal. We really had a great time!
After arrived at Pangandaran, we got a hotel right away. Fortunately, the hotel located near the Pangandaran Beach. And it just took around 15 minutes to get there by foot. It was 5 p.m. that time and we decided to watch the sunset at 6 p.m. Soon after we checked in, we went to the beach. We spent our time strolling along the coast, playing around with waves, and taking many photos while waiting for the sunset. Not long after that, the sun finally set itself! We looked up to the sky and it really was a beautiful view. I was grateful to be there.
In the next morning, on 25th December 2015, we went to the nature preserve. The location of the nature preserve was also near the hotel. Before we entered, we had to pay for the enterance ticket that cost about Rp.40.000 (i don't really remember it). After we entered the place, the tour guide began to describe the place itself. He also showed us many kinds of natural objects(?) such as cave, stalactite, and many more. There were also a beautiful white-sanded beach. We played happily there.
We went home to Bandung that day. But before that, we went to Batu Karas. Batu Karas was just like a common beach, but it had bigger and higher waves than Pangandaran Beach (there were also a lot of jellyfish). I often spotted some people surfing there. After that, we finally went home to Bandung. We left at 5 p.m and arrived at home safely at 2 a.m.
And then, on 6th January 2016, i and family went for a holiday again to Jakarta to meet our close relatives who live in there. We just stayed for a night, because that time i was sick =))). There were nothing much to do during holiday in home. I always spent my day sketching and painting (obviously). Another things that i usually did were reading novels and watching. I love to watch a cooking show or DIY tutorial. Well, my activity during holidays seemed really boring, but i always enjoyed it :D.
That's all from me, sorry if there's any mistakes (especially my grammar =))). Thank you for reading~
